Counselling and Psychotherapy

Coping with the challenges and stresses of modern living may present problems for the individual. These difficulties can manifest themselves in a variety of symptoms e.g. depression or anxiety.

Counselling tends to be a short term exploration of current personal difficulties. Psychotherapy is a more long term process which enables people to understand the deeper roots of their present difficulties.

What we provide

At An Cuan we offer the person an opportunity to explore in a trusting relationship the causes of such problems. The person can be helped learn more healthy ways of dealing with life’s challenges.

This support is available in the form of individual, couple, family or group therapy.
