Professional Therapists

All treatment provided at An Cuan is confidential, professional and provided by experienced, highly qualified therapists.

Our therapists are obliged to work to ethical guidelines of their particular accreditation body.

Counselling and Psychotherapy

Coping with the challenges and stresses of modern living may present problems for the individual. These difficulties can manifest themselves in a variety of symptoms e.g. depression or anxiety.

Counselling tends to be a short term exploration of current personal difficulties.

Psychotherapy is a more long term process which enables people to understand the deeper roots of their present difficulties.

What we provide

At An Cuan we offer the person an opportunity to explore in a trusting relationship the causes of such problems. The person can be helped learn more healthy ways of dealing with life’s challenges.

This support is available in the form of individual, couple, family or group therapy.

Rooms for rent

We have five therapy rooms available at different times in the centre of Rathgar Village, very well served by public transport and free or paid parking available.

Each room is decorated to the highest standard with plenty of natural light.

Two rooms are equipped with Novaerus Air Cleansers ( hospital grade), and two rooms are on the ground floor and so accessible to people who are physically challenged.

Fee is €12 per hour with a reduced rate, to be negotiated, depending on the number of hours required.
