Kathy’s primary training is in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She also uses theories and techniques from Mindfulness to complement her psychotherapeutic skills, particularly working with anxiety and depression.

She has recently developed her practice by working with couples in a new way. She trained with Gail Palmer from the Ottawa institute and Scott Woolley from Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (E.F.T.C.)
